A generated character can drift because each output is probabilistic. Drift is more likely when the identity is described from scratch, the prompt conflicts with saved traits, or the new pose and lighting hide defining features.
Reduce identity drift
Use the same saved character, avoid contradicting its baseline traits, and make one scene change at a time. Prefer clear face visibility when identity is the priority.
Review before publishing
Compare face shape, complexion, hairline, apparent adult age and signature accessories. Regenerate or edit a result that reads as a different person.
